My work place has become infested with dry snitches and tattletales. I have protected myself by keeping my mouth shut and my ears open, but man there is some fucking uncool shit going on in that place right now. Even with my general work place paranoia, and overall good track record, some tool accused me of leaking confidential information to other staff members a few months ago. I don’t know who did it, but they sure did look stupid after the incident was investigated. I didn’t say jack about shit, and I had actual evidence to back me up. More shit hitting the fan today, none of it involving me but all of it involving people running their mouths to people 3 steps above them in the chain of command. This place isn’t cool right now, and this stuff needs to settle down really fast.

I was reading the thread on the Hobbit, and somebody talked about pacing. It just made me remember almost falling asleep in the theatre during those piece of shit flicks. Action scenes are all well and good, but they were so drawn out that it became fucking pointless. I could mentally tune out for five or ten minutes and not actually miss anything in the movie. "Oh, Johnny Depp is rolling on a giant fucking wheel down a beach. Great."

Another fucking slow day so far

Boy do I hope that the rest of today and this week doesn't stay so agonizingly boring.

I'm really fucking pissed off today. A lot of the jobs I have been applying for require that you have a G licence and a clean abstract. I would have the abstract, but heres the problem:

I got my G Licence on July 15th, my G2 expired on July 19th (cutting it close). Naturally, you would think that a license upgrade also includes renewal, but this is not the case. A few months ago, I got a drive down to Deicide, where the driver proceeded to get absolutely fucking loaded and I took it easy that evening (had at the most, 2 beers over the course of the night). I drove his car home to our place, but was stopped about 5 minutes from home because the left headlight was out.

360$ ticket for driving without a valid licence. It has been paid for, but I just learned today that the offense is on my driving record for 3 years, thus making me uninsurable to employers. What a fantastic system this is.

That's messed up! Why does such a minor offense make you uninsurable? Its not like you were driving drunk!
