That means that not only do I work a four day week during my last week of the year, my last day of work will only be a half day because I'll be at the potluck by 11:30am at the latest. Everything's coming up Milhouse!

Re: Fucking Things You Fucking Like: Part Deux I was in the same boat with my holiday break...last day Dec. 21st, go back to work Jan. 2nd. Turns out I have 26 hours of vacation to use up before the end of the year ON TOP of what I already had planned for the beak. To use up this extra time, my last day is now Dec. 19th, and I'm also taking this coming Monday off. I fucking like this. My company is also doing a potluck thing on the 19th, but I give very few fucks about this, and I might not even go to it at all.

I got home from work, and spent an hour (and two bottles of hair dye) on a job that was long overdue. Looks fuckin' good now ...I also smell like a pretty little flower thanks to the conditioner

If possible, I'm planning on taking like 11 days off (while using 2-3 vacation days) between Christmas and NY. So yeah, if it works out my last day would be 12/21 and I'd go back the 2nd.

Re: Fucking Things You Fucking Like: Part Deux i just applied to 5 positions of pretty much the same job. it'll basically be teaching science to (or doing fun experiemnts with) underpriviliged kids for a few hours a week. everything works pretty well with my qualifications and my schedule.. this looks like it might work out.
