Is that assault really that BRUTAL?

Benediction & Carpathian, sure. Meshuggah, I can accept. But shit, the rest of them are downright MELLOW at times.

Well there are still many months for bands to be added, this is just the starting.

I have no idea, what is going on with the tickets to this event. Seems like their website ticket area is down. Unless this event is fully sold out? Which I don't see that happening.

Well seems like they have fixed the problem with their ticket area. Looks like they still had the old 2012 ticket area still open and the page was down. Now am fully stoked to go to this one.

Lots of hardcore dancing for Madball, so will assuredly be Brutal

The last time I attended Brutal Assault in 2011. Comeback Kid, Blood for Blood, Your Demise and First Blood all played and there was no hardcore dancing since the ground is a gravel floor with a bunch of rubber mats laid on top.

To each their own, for me, I might be chilling out off to the side drinking beer or grabbing food while still watching them since, I enjoy throwing them on once in awhile.

Only 4 hours from where I stay. The weekend after Wacken. Hmmm. Considering going for this. Seeing that tickets are only 64 euros and I paid more than that just to watch Rammstein!

Although, only bands I want to watch now are Behemoth, Overkill and Benediction. Nachymystium is playing at Rock Hard fest and Ihsahn at Wacken.

Yea, I found this gem of a festival, when I went to Czech Republic in 2011 and just randomly checked to see what Metal Fests are going on and this one was happening the time I was there. That is the one thing I found, Wacken and Brutal Assault have a lot of the same bands playing. The only thing about Brutal Assault is I suggest getting VIP camping, since people tend to steal wrist bracelets there.

The Czech Republic is generally way cheaper than Germany.

Wacken tix are 160 euro!

Yup, its crazy how much they differ in price, but you are a lot closer to the bands at Brutal Assault, pretty wicked food, beer is local light and dark on tap, liquor everywhere, no water to buy only from taps, you had sparking raspberry and lemon drink on tap. The Czech koruna is awesome! Great value everywhere.

Also, last Brutal Assault I saw NerveCell which is the band Alan from Nephelium session in before he came to Canada.

I would cut off my own testicles before playing a show in the fucking Czech Republic.

They made it quite clear that metal bands are not welcome in their country with that Randy Blythe nonsense.
