All local today. The Middle Ages IPA is very good, and I recommend it to anybody that can get it. Saranac Big Moose is solid, and a good option for the price. It’s a couple dollars cheaper than most microbrews, but still a good beer, and one that you can drink all night.

And in stores right now. I picked up one of these today and will grab a Choklat tomorrow probably... i still have one of them from last year too. I think i'll make a list of all the beer I've had aging since last fall/winter from here and some from the spring from the states. Looking forward to diving into some more of em soon... but at the same time, most are beer that age well for years, and i don't want to drink them Two LCBO's and one Beer Store today to try and find it and not one of them knew that the Twice as Mad Tom existed. Some places, I do not understand. Some places may have put it out thinking it was just good ole regular Mad Tom IPA.

I picked up a six pack of this last night. It was my first time having it in quite a while, and it was actually better than I remember. Solid beer from a solid brewery.

I can't believe it's already November, but that means this is out: Had a six of 'em last night. Good stuff. And the other holiday beers soon to come.

I am liking this Mill Street sampler pack. Looking forward to picking it up. 3 interesting beer in it instead of the usual 2.
The Noble Pils is calling my name. One thing i wish is that more of our ontario craft brewery's crafted more brew with higher ABVs.

Well now that the Cobblestone Stout is out, I will be picking that up over Guinness, any day now other than if its Guinness Extra Foreign Stout. Yea, higher ABV's would be nice, that Paradise IPA is 7.2%ABV

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
Nice. Ratebeer showed it at 6% for some reason, so that's good news. The Noble Pils is up around 7 too. 6.8.
I just about cracked a St. Ambroise RIS from last year, but after searching to see if it was being released again this year, and not finding anything, i decided to put it back in the cellar. I have two of them, and being silly as i am, don't want to drink one yet if they aren't releasing them this year.
The St. Ambroise Vintage Ale is already in some stores though, whichis excellent news... i just really hope the RIS comes back as well.

I just haven't had their Stock Ale in fucking forever and wanted to see about the Pils because I don't like a lot of them so maybe a double will be better?

Too me a double pilsner could only mean twice the haggardness. :P P.S. I also find that pilsners taste twice as shitty when they are poured into a glass. Try it out of the bottle and then try the other half in a glass and lemme know whether or not you find the same thing.

You know what, I think you are onto something...I like Steamwhistle out of the bottle only, hate it from tap/Can.

Keith's, etc. This is what I've found. If pouring a beer into a glass brings out the flavors, than if it's a shitty beer it brings out the shitty flavors as well. Hence why those are better to drink out of the bottle. I hate the Mill Street Organic, but ice cold and straight out of the bottle and DAMN that's a fine beer. weird eh?

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
Wicked!
Just left from the lcbo. I broke my Innis & Gunn glass on Saturday and the Holiday gift pack with the glass I broke was already on the shelf waiting for me!
There was also Unibroue Brewery - IMPOSSIBLE on the shelves as well as the Belgian mix pack that I love so much.

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
I was not a fan of that Belgian mix pack... but Belgian strongs aren't really my favourite. I do enjoy them though quite a bit though, but those ones didn't do much for me for some reason. I noticed an Innis & Gunn spiced rum finish the other day too. Will need to try it, since i don't think i ever have. I'm looking forward to the unibroue beer. Pretty sure the LA FIN DU MONDE is readily available all the time at the beer store. Maybe I'm wrong though. I still have one of these from last year... no real plans on when to drink it, as again, it supposedly ages fantastically...
