You've got some good taste, my man. BTW, I've been wearing out my new copy of Brain Salad Surgery. Never thought i'd say THAT.

Glad your liking "Brain Salad Surgery." There are so many albums I'd love to put up here, but alas, their not on youtube. I might have to start uploading myself. "Dogman" was the only King's X album there. I love it, but "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" is by far my fave.

Here is the first album I ever bought. Sometime in 1967 or 1968. It has been called the greatest rock album ever released, & I got to admit, that's hard to argue with. Unfornately this is the mono version, as in the USA, the stereo verision is not allowed on youtube. From 1966, here is the Beatles, "Revolver." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJou07kq2Cg

Actually, after hearing all those mono mixes, I was really kicking myself for not purchasing them a lot sooner. Mandatory album, regardless.

Re: Jimmy Jammers Jam Joint: Album of the Day
Here is the album that turned the rock world on it's ear & planted the seed of heavy metal for future artists to grow! It might sound tame by today standards, but it was undreamed of HEAVY when released! From 1967, here is the Jimi Hendrix Experience, "Are You Experienced?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFzfcrzAZew
