Finally making myself go to the doctor yesterday. After nearly passing out from back pain on Sunday, it was pretty much mandatory.

Got prescribed some Naproxen, told to go to a chiropractor for the next six weeks, and then check in with my doc to see how my back is doing, as well as check on a couple other possible ailments.

I've taken Naproxen before when I hyper-extended a toe, but I forgot that it can throw you for a small loop when you're just starting to take it. Should be an interesting work day.

Naproxen is Aleve (can be had over the counter).

And yeah - it can mangle your stomach if you take a high dose on an empty stomach.


Anyway, feel better ya pussy.

Yeahhh, I was just coming here to say that. Oftentimes they'll prescribe Pariet to go with it to protect your tummy. But now we've got new shit called Vimivo that's a combo of naproxen and rabeprazole. Expensive as fuck, though.

I'm genuiniely excited about this. Benny saw Rocket Raccoon for the first time on an episode of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and he keeps asknig me to buy the Guardians set of action figures they have at Target.

By the way, I've never read AV Club comments before. That was a big mistake. So much stupidity and randomness. No one was even trying to actually make any real productive commentary. It made YouTube comments look smarter!

Just had some really nasty weather, including reports of tornadoes touching down. I like the fact that the house and everything is safe. All of the damage seems to have happened elsewhere.

I like heading up to the Apsley to a friends cottage this weekend! We go quite a few times each year to this particular cottage, which you can only reach by boat (which i find entertaining), but this weekend is gonna be a good one.

I just wish today was Friday so I would be leaving work at 1pm en route.
