He's not the most consistent, but the dude puts on championship caliber performances more often than not.

Re: 2012 Baseball Thread Both the NL and AL East divisions are huge this year. One team under .500 in each division at the moment, and there have been times when all teams in both divisions were above .500. Will be interesting to see if it stays this competitive all summer.

Halladay, Lee, Lincecum, Hernandez. All not doing so hot. Verlander and Kershaw are still tanks. Greinke's doing alright too. Anyways, a pitcher's win/loss record isn't all that important... Though I guess for the Pool sake it is. :p Lincecum is doing the worst of the bunch. He's thrown a few good games, but he's been getting pounded more often than not this year.

These are what you look for in pitchers for the most part. And that's not counting the "advanced metrics" that are in vogue right now. Wins for pitchers really don't mean a whole lot. Same for saves.
