 Re: 2012 Baseball Thread
Early in the season, but I think Lawrie is on his way to a Gold Glove this year. He's been a freakin' vacuum on third.

One game. Not enough for me to jump at picking him up.

Totally, and in my pool there is quite a bonus for pitching a perfect game, in addition to all the points they normally would receive. I was a little worried because the person I'm matched up against has a bunch of dudes I've never heard of with low ownerage percentages. At least Verlander has been a consummate house.

 Re: 2012 Baseball Thread
I might have picked him up since I have Cliff Lee and Daniel Hudson on the DL but my opponent this week grabbed him at about 12:30 this morning.

I should think about it... I need a guy throwing games like that since Lincecum so far has been like... the worst pitcher in the league. I didn't expect a 2009-2010 season out of him or anything, but fuck...

 Re: 2012 Baseball Thread
With the Angels at 6-10, the Pujols/CJ Wilson acquisitions look like a very early unmitigated disaster. Unmitigated.....what does that mean anyway?

 Re: 2012 Baseball Thread
I wouldn't take any teams record, or player's numbers too seriously until about mid may-june. That is when i would start worrying.

No. Swept by the Orioles. That puts the Jays 1-5 against the O's so far this season... The Orioles lost to a community college team for shit's sake!

It's "unqualified as in, "without any other qualifying criteria"
