 Re: Rest in peace Rab
I just seen in a friends facebook status and I was kinda rattled. I don't post on the board much anymore but I knew Rab has a lot of friends on here.
Rab was one of the few people from the board that I know in person (kinda). In 2004 I was at a In Flames and Shadows Fall show at the docks, I ending up meeting a big dude with a camera and I asked him If I could see some of the shots he took and we talked about In Flames and other stuff. And this kept happening up until about a year ago when I got too busy to go to more shows.
This is all shitty news and I feel really bad for his family and all his friends here on the brave board, RIP Rab.

Our friend Rob made an impact on everyone he met. Even guys in bands he loved since he was a kid. If that's not a clue of how guys like he and Adrian left their marks on so many people, I don't know what is. No doubt man.

Not trying to sound calous..but rab was a rockstar in his own right. He's joined the 27 club.

This is terrible news! I saw Rob two weeks ago at the David Gold Memorial. He was tired but still in good spirits. We lost a good man.

 Re: Rest in peace Rab
Tragic news. Such a nice and warm soul.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Rab quite a few times at shows and he was always great conversation and had nothing but nice things to say. It was clear from the moment I'd met him that those that could call this man a close friend were truly lucky people.
The man was always interested in making people laugh, and that is one of the greatest traits a person can have. The man will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known or spoken him.
RIP Rab, it was great knwing you.

 Re: Rest in peace Rab
Hey guys sorry I haven't posted in ages. Just given my condolences. I saw this on Rab's Facebook earlier and was quite shocked. It greatly saddens me that we have lost Rab, David Gold, and Adrian as of late. R.I.P. guys.

Lame. It is seldom I conjure the nerve to ever socialize at metal shows and the one time I spent with Rab (at Metal Gods I believe? Maybe Amon Amarth) will be treasured. Personable, funny, kind... just a damn good spirit that deserved to impress himself on so much more of life.
LAME.
