Not really sure if you're trying to tell me I'm being incredibly obvious by pointing that out, which I'm well aware of. But I'm simply all too used to people from Toronto using the city as a measuring stick for the rest of the country which should not be the case at all. Considering we're discussing food, the amount of immigration that goes into Toronto alone has resulted in a fairly unique culinary atmosphere in that city which is really not reflected anywhere else in Canada, even the other major cities.

I was really just looking for an excuse to hold the shitbasket...

We've got a good swirling mess of ethnic culinary backgrounds and fusions, but I can't think of anything that would be a Torontonian dish.

I can't really think of a Torontonian dish myself, but in my mind the city is just unique for the variety of food that can be found there. Outside of New York City I really can't think of many places that can lay claim to that on the same level

I think you mistook his meaning. He was essentially saying that he's jealous of Toronto, but that it's hard to measure the rest of Canada to Toronto's high standards when it comes to food.

I've spent 18 years of my life there. I think I'd be okay without needing an incredibly rude person who has difficulty reading to show me around

It's a government ploy. Our national dish is Soylent Green, and the S-G market kinda relies on tourism.

i don't know about the pitas themselves but rather than the customary "enjoy" i've found the servers usually yell "CRAM IT IN YOUR FACE HOLE! EXTREME!" at the top of their lungs when handing you your order

Extreme isn't really a good adjective for describing food. When I think of the word "extreme", I think of the whole early 90s surfer attitude, that mankind has thankfully gotten over.

bagel, because of your post, i now want a pita. so i am attempting to recreate what i usually order, a buffalo chicken caesar pita, but i only had frozen crappy chicken. if this doesn't work out i'm holding you personally responsible.

Not bad, but I was hoping that maybe you had to run some sort of gauntlet to get your extreme pita. Of course, the final ordeal would have to be the Paddling of the Swollen Ass... with paddles.

They have Brooklyn style pizza at Domino's now. I'd like to try it, as that's probably my favorite style of pizza.

But here's the stupid part. They have advertised $9.99 for a large one topping Brooklyn style pizza. That's reasonable.

But for $19.99 you get the Brooklyn special. One large one topping Brooklyn style pizza, an order of cheesy bread, and a 2l Coke. Their cheesy bread only costs $4.99. So you're basically paying 5 dollars for a 2l Coke. What a ridiculous deal. They probably don't even charge more than 3 dollars for their 2l Coke products anyways.

I really like Domino's (seriously, who doesn't?), but this deal has greed and phail written all over it.
