 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
This is banquet leftovers though. It's overcooked and oversteamed, so the chicken is dry and the breading is soggy. Even with the sauce on it's a bland mush surrounding a bland mass of chewy meat.

Found these in a supermarket that I don't go often. Nice and spicy! I also found some scotch bonnet peppers at that store. I will cultivate its seeds, and grow some this summer.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
Damn, Americans get all the best fast food. Curse you all!!
That thing really looks pretty damn good. Hopefully they'll try it up here at some point.

The Best of Fast Food has nothing to do with Taco Bell.
Fucking Christ.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
There's difference of opinion and there's difference of "You're a fucking idiot." Seriously. Putting shitty taco meat in the middle of a Dorito flavoured chip is so far away from the best fast food it's ridiculous.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
Well, I wasn't trying to suggest that it was some sort of gourmet creation. I come from Canada, where our choices of "It's 2 am, I'm drunk as fuck and want something retarded to eat" cuisine can be somewhat limited. Along those lines, this thing from Taco Bell fits the bill pretty well. I understand that Taco Bell does not offer the "best" of anything, but it was more of a general remark towards the entire collection of readily available fast food in America as opposed to Canada.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
can't argue with that, but I'd have to imagine it would be available in the US as well(?) I suppose I could Google it but I've never really understood why it's such a Canadian thing. Who wouldn't love fries, gravy and cheese?

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
I don't know why it's not more popular here, but if I want it, I have to make it myself, and it's the kind of food that I typically want if only someone else is making it.
The midwest had something called horseshoes, which was similar and good.
Garlic toast, hamburger patty, French fries, cheese sauce. Mmmm...

Just looked that up with Google and I think I will have to try making one of these recipes that are coming up, it looks really great. Thanks!

Don't count Toronto in your crappy portrayal of late night Canada please. There is bounteous awesomeness of food late at night here. We score large.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
If you take a moment to read my comment again, you might notice the words "can be somewhat limited," which I put in there exactly for this reason. If you need that clarified further, imagine I had said "outside of major cities such as Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver." I understand Toronto is a fine city but to use it, and it alone, as an example for the whole of Canada is just silly.

Even better, people I grew up with have such a misconception of what Canada is like that when I told them I went to Toronto, they asked if I was going to be near Vancouver. Yeah, and when you go to LA, make sure you stop by NYC.
