This scene from "Creature From the Black Lagoon" (1954) still creeps me out decades later! Always made me think what bumped me in the water or what is in the water that I can't see. A true "Jaws" moment, before there was "Jaws." One of the eeriest scenes in horror! The Creature swimming underneath beautiful Julie Adams (she looks like Jeniffer Conlley's mother or grand mothter) as she swims the Black Lagoon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ariuokNFhSw

Here is a remake better than the original, though the original was great campy fun, & Steve McQueen's first starring role. This remake has great special effects for its time, genuine dread & suspence, & it was the first & last time I seen a full grown man pulled down a kitchen sink drain! "The Blob" (1988) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sixDADVVnxA

Here is a great underrated little gem of a horror/Sci Fi movie! Featuring the beautiful Natasha Henstridge, as the sweet, vunerable, but lethal female alien, human, hybrd! "Species" 1995 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8mWmRSVrbM

This fantasy/horror film is loosely based on "Little Red Riding Hood." Dreamy, surrealism, enhanced by gorgeous photography, top notch acting, & a great script/story line, it is quite unlike any other Werewolf film I've seen. It has a way of getting under your skin! "The Company of Wolves" 1985 http://www.videodetective.com/movies/tr ... ailer/2200

Though not as good as the original, this sequel is still highly entertaing! Jerry Dandrige's vampire sister comes back for revenge of Jerry's death. Charley & Peter Vincent are back, fighting vampires again! "Fright Night 2" 1989 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W83ZB-TMm4o

"The Company of Wolves" 1985 http://www.videodetective.com/movies/tr ... ailer/2200GOOD CALL! My gal showed this one to me, about six months ago. I loved it. It's fucking bizarre as all hell, but it has, in my opinion, THE BEST werewolf "transformation" ever.

Glad you liked the film! Here is an complex, intense, Sci-Fi, Thriller. No outer space, no monsters, just a great story, acting, & direction on a futuristic, perfect human society, that is not perfect. "Gattaca" 1997 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7OYCmynrRU

Is it sci-fi? Is it horror? Is it comedy. Is it an alien movie? Is it a zombie film? It's all of them & more! "Slither" 2006 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j-y6B7UpQM

Well Known to hardcore horror fans, obscure to all the rest, here is Dario Argento's masterpiece. It's thick atmosphere of dread is only matched by it's beautiful cinematography. A true text book example of style over substance, yet enough substance to make this one of the best horror films ever made! "Suspiria" 1977 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8zbV_fFkYs

Great OBSCURE Austrailian film about a killer giant wild boar. Very effective cinematography as the first three minutes of this film will show, filled with dread! "Razor Back" 1984 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2tt_X5OZ6U

Part of the gothic styled horror/thriller movies of the early to mid 60's, here is one of the greatest movies of the sub-genre. Starring, Joan Crawford & Bette Davis. Considered quite shocking in it's time, & roles that broke ground for these two legends. "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" 1962 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAcf9QqXprc

From Beyond was a cool flick. A good attempt at a HP Lovecraft story.

Re: Edited: The Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi Movie Trailer Thread
Maybe the best Vampire movie you've never seem. This little German gem is well acted, scripted, directed, & edited. The English dubbing is truly superior! A young girl gets inducted to a family of female Vampires involuntarily, because the head Vampire see's in her, the lost love of her life. The joys, the sorrow, the tragedy of being immortal, is so fleshed out in this film it is truly touching. You care about the main characters. A stake in the heart. This film is a masterpiece! Do your self a favor & see it soon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBRDR12LHN8
