Edited: The Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi Movie Trailer Thread
Got this idea by posting on T-Rabs great, "Last movie you saw thread: Poster A Posterer," thread. I thought why not have a trailer thread? Maybe this has been done before, I don't know? This trailer thread is geared more to Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy films, but all genres are welcome. I do ask that eveyone only post up one trailer per day, as that will give the chance for everyone to throw up their favorite obscure films without having to worry so much about someone posting up 10 trailers in one day, hence maybe the trailer they wanted to put up??? Addendum: I originally intended this thread for the more obscure movies of these genres, but on second thought, one person's obscure film, might be another person's old stand by? So why limit this thread just to the obscure, as there are many well know films that I'm sure not everyone has seen? That is not to say that the more obscure films are still not most important to this thread, but why limit it? More fun this way! Post on!

Re: The Obscure Movie Trailer Thread
Sometimes these old movie trailers are a lot more corny than the movie it's self, this is no exception. "Curse of the Werewolf." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enA6pWdCHH4

The greatest horror film of the 50's, or for that matter, one of the greatest horror films of any decade! "The Night of the Demon" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSTA97Msls8

This works so much better with posters. Don't want to hijack your thread or anything but images > links. Hotlink the image to the trailer or something lol. Jim McCormick wrote: "Curse of the Werewolf." Jim McCormick wrote: "The Night of the Demon" There we go.

The Old Dark House. It's an old black and white horror/thriller/murder-mystery film. Classic, but obscure. I discovered it a few years ago when Cinemassacre did a review of it for Monster Madness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvhV7M2fDnE

I guess there is no harm???

I watch these trailers to the old Hammer films, & have to grin with their corny narration, but the films are much better! "Brides of Dracula." 1960 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaunvDZcf7E

Re: The Obscure Movie Trailer Thread
Caught this one late at night on City TV. Not bad for a b-flick. Hilarious premise. A bad electrical storm causes powerlines to fall into the ground electrfying the area and causing the worms to turn into flesh eaters. The trailer can intro the movie better than I can.... I give you Squirm! SQUIRM [1976] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMflHegl ... re=related

Re: The Obscure Movie Trailer Thread
Ok, this film is not obscure anymore, since it's director, Peter Jackson has become the director of his generation, but when it was released, it was relatively unknown. Probably the funniest Zombie film ever made, & probably the goriest film ever made, though it's gore is so over the top, it is hilarious! "Dead Alive" or "Braindead" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep1kTREdaqU

Re: The Obscure Movie Trailer Thread
Ok, I could not help myself. Here is the first ten minutes of "Night of the Demon' (1957), British title, & the best version. "Curse of the Demon" is the cut American version. The first 7 minutes of this segement really captures the atmosphere of this top flight horror film! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRKl-xvhjyU

Re: Edited: The Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi Movie Trailer Thread
I have been trying to track down a movie I watched as a kid but I don't have too much information on what it could be. It takes place in Italy I think and starts off with a priest in a coffin or being pushed into a coffin. It then cuts into some busy city with two people in an apartment. The movie does focus around gates of hell but it's not city of the living dead. I think it might be late 80s from what i remember. I have been trying to figure this out forever.

Could be several movies??? Here is a trailer for "The Church," but I can't remember whether there is a priest being pushed in a coffin? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPjRCzBR9uc

Re: Edited: The Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi Movie Trailer Thread
It's definitely not the church. There really isn't demons or anything in it besides the priest going nuts and turning into a zombie killing thing. It's more occult and black magic. Alot of it takes place in the day time too if that does anything to help. They also go visit an old guy at a gas station in the countryside. I wish i had more information

In the way over saturated Zombie sub-genre, there are few films that are truly great, disturbing, funny, & original, all at the same time. This black comedy/horror film is one of the exceptions! "Zombie Honeymoon" (2004) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPwwq1oJ5r8

Re: Edited: The Horror Fantasy Sci-Fi Movie Trailer Thread
I enjoyed yelling "SCIENCE!" throughout that movie, since it contained the worst scientists to ever exist. It was about as ridiculous as the med student performing an amputation with a rock in that horrible "The Ruins" films, which by horrible I mean hilariously awesome!
