 Food Obsession and Randomness!
So the last thread hit 50 pages thus we have our second incarnation.
My latest epiphany is that the easiest delicious dish in the world to make is:
1. Boil good quality pasta in sea salted water. Drain. 2. Melt low fat cream cheese immediately into the hot pasta. 3. Grind on a ton of black pepper. 4. Enjoy.
Why is this so delicious yet so simple? It's seriously a revelation.

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
I bet if you added smoked salmon slivers to it it would be even more delicious

 Re: Food Obsession and Randomness!
Tonight I made the Aztec Casserole, what my sister once called "the best drunk food ever". You don't have to be drunk to enjoy it, but apparently when drunk it hits the spot like you wouldn't believe. Always gets positive aromatic notice when I re-heat it at lunch, too.
The secret ingredient...is cumin.

I love this quaint little Italian shop not too far from here. They make their own noodles, sauces, breads, and meatballs. The downside to having such delicious veal lasagna on tap is that it makes me too lazy to bake my own.

Cumin is my favourite spice of all time. Thyme is my favourite herb. (I'm not counting salt or pepper because they're freebies.)
