Yeah, this is easily the biggest loss to me in the game that is North American publishing... I stopped reading BWBK a long time ago, and rarely read MM (except when I was trucking), but I jumped at every copy of Unrestrained! I could get my hands on.

I'm glad that this is able to be shared with everyone. I'd love to see it printed, but its a fitting tribute either way.

Excellent issue as usual. I will miss this mag more than any other. It was just so expansive and unique. So many odd bands given features where no one else would touch them. I will miss that most.

Well, this made my day, and I know Adrian would be tickled right now too.

Definitely going to the print shop and getting a copy made.

Incredibly impressed with the layout and diversity of this issue, as always. Love the fact the it's the year end issue, best of 2008, makes a good swansong.

My column, which I worked closely with Adrian on, looks crazy. Rex, I owe you one for helping me look cool. Great coffee mugs man. Too bad we only got to do it once.

I'm just incredibly proud to have been a part of Unrestrained!, but very humble towards the fact that all the writers there kicked my ass issue after issue.

There's a lot more that I can't put into words right now...

Glad to see this being released. I'm still in disbelief about Mr. Pink Bunny no longer being with us.

basically, i was super-busy at the time and wasn't feeling inspired to whip out a column. adrian tried to talk me into doing one, but i wasn't feeling it. we were on the phone one day, he was still trying to convince me, i wasn't buying in. he asked what my fave album of the year was and said, "what if get a picture of a sucky-looking black kid and write, "listen to more disfear, bitches" and put that in the space? i'm like, "do whatever you want." 15 mins later he calls me back, "dude, i'm sending you a jpg of what i came up with." and there you have it.

even though no one could have predicted his death and this being the last issue, it's kind of fitting he authored the last "rimshots."

lol I didn't know he made that. I figured you did it.

How would he fit it in, between being busy writing for everyone, making me sound half professional on the radio every week, listening to more music in a day than most of us do in a week, and watching episodes of 24 over and over...

dude, monday night. 24 followed by a 10 minute drive to see obscura. let's not forget the new kong, mumakil and therapy? albums i've got my hands on. then, brutal truth on friday... life is good.

I echo this sentiment ... it was indeed an honour to be asked by Adrian to write for his magazine, and one that I'll never forget.

They had a bunch at Adrian's memorial, I managed to score a few pretty sweet issues (It was a U! haul... ).
