Well, sometime in December, most of the posters here sent in their top 15 lists, and then Lord Of All Fire did the calculations in order to see what was voted the "top".

I guess the DHG wasn't voted much higher because:
a) They're nowhere near as known as some other bands on the list
b) Not as advertized as other stuff
c) It's a pretty niche album

Honestly, my top album of the year isn't even on the fucking list, even though it's a work of genius.
