Re: NFL Thread: John Harbaugh Approved
It's pretty funny how bad Brady is being dissed for getting that extension by the local and somewhat national media.

Re: NFL Thread: John Harbaugh Approved
It's because Patriot fans/media were saying how good of a teammate he was by "restructuring," but it ends up not really meaning anything.

Or they'll let him walk, which I could see happening just as much.

Iced Ray finally says something optimistic about his team and you're there to crush it immediately.

That happened in 2005 when they re-did Tom's contract and they never signed Deion Branch and Tommy was pretty peeved. I think Bill will make up for that and get a Welker deal done now although we all know that Bill is not really thrilled with Wes. And if not Wes, then they gotta go get a Wallace or Bowe to make up for that. It seems Brandon Lloyd has already worn out his welcome in New England.

Re: NFL Thread: In Before the Burning Ham
Really? That still depends on what happens with Albert. If he wants to be paid like a LT and they keep him, they aren't going to then shift him to guard at that pay. Floyd or Lotulelei (if this heart condition turns out to be nothing) are equally viable options, perhaps moreso given their recent failures at drafting DL.

Re: NFL Thread: John Harbaugh Approved
From what I've read, it sounds more and more like their leaning towards letting Albert walk. But Neil would be the one to ask.

Re: NFL Thread: John Harbaugh Approved
There is no way he should be the highest-paid player, but it goes to show that playoff success matters far more individually than it does how you look during the regular season.

Re: NFL Thread: John Harbaugh Approved
He wasn't the MVP in the Super Bowl. I know he got the award, but that was just a huge brainfart. Jacoby Jones was the only legitimate name on that ballot.
Where's his contract extension/raise?

Chiefs were busy today. Signed Bowe and Colquitt, and franchised Albert. I still believe they'll draft Joeckel, though. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/90159 ... don-albert

Panthers were saying that they didn't have a whole lot of money. Only except that they turned a $112 million profit. http://deadspin.com/5988893/leaked-nfl- ... -two-yearsThis should make the fanbase happy.

I'd like to see Revis in Seattle. He and Sherman already have great chemistry.
