Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
Rook and Fallout, you guys both have PMs.
Just so people know, I'm planning on keeping Crosby and Niemi, as well as either Kunitz or Sedin.
So aside from Crosby or Niemi, by all means make with the offers, folks.

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
so if the deadline is march 21st, does that mean trades can be completed up until 11:59 on march 21st, or as of 12:00AM march 21st the rosters are frozen?

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
I see people are trading Round 1 picks, but since we have 3 keepers, won't the 1st round pick be 4th round?

I'll be setting the draft to assign keepers in the final three rounds this year to avoid any errors like that

Nobody has any interest in Streit or Campbell? Surely somebody needs a defensive upgrade or two

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
At this point, Derek, with the momentum I have going into the playoffs, I'm not really looking to make any trades. Besides, I'd like to keep my good picks for next year.

Fair enough If you change your mind, my cell phone forwards all league emails to me and I check that damn thing relentlessly so don't hesitate to send an offer.

So, curious. What are the standings in your pool now that we've passed the half way point?

I'm in 6th right now. I think I was around 12th about three weeks ago.

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
in 4th, down from 2nd after a close week with mobius, in fact he's tied with me right now.
and derek, i'm not really interested in anybody you have other than crosby (who i know you're not trading), and i still don't think i'd give up my 1st rounder even for him. even if i was getting yours (or whoevers) 2nd round pick back, if i give up my first i basically won't pick until almost the 30th pick. that's waaaayyyy too late to hope to have any chance next year IMO, so highest i'm willing to go in dealing my picks is my 2nd (which will likely be in the #15-20 range)

Cool.
I'm in a pool with 16 teams as well. I'm not sure how i like it yet. Some teams seem to be packed really tightly while others were out of the running so quickly.

Re: The 2013 BBer Hockey Pool - Sprint for the Finish
I'm in a head to head pool with 7 buddies, same categories as ours. I'm in third place, gearing up to make a run for the playoffs. If Spezza and Kesler can both come back in time, I'll be loaded up real nicely in that one.

I'm in second place. I've been in the top four all year.
In my other pool I'm eleventh out of twenty and can't seem to get any momentum going.

Is draft serpentine or straight (last picks first in even rounds or last picks last in every round)?

Ok.
And Rook, I see your offer. I'm waiting to hear about draft before I counter.

Nice, my defense is solid now.
Edler Streit OEL Keith Visnovsky
Pretty happy with my team now, hopefully Malkin stays healthy when he's back.
