The next stage is documentation and ratification of the deal, with the start date and number of games in the 2012-13 season still to be announced depending on how long the final process takes.

So there will be an entirely new schedule worked out and announced soon. Games up to January 15 were already cancelled, but it wouldn't surprise me if we got a 50 game season starting a few days earlier now that things seem to be set.

Not really interested in Reimer, but am interested in Bryz. Depends what the asking price is though, i'm not giving up a guy like Benn, Malkin, Kane, Getzlaf or Keith, that's for sure. (forget who else I have)

looking at your roster and excluding the guys you mentioned above, i'd have interest in duchene or ribeiro.

that said, goaltending fucked me last year, so i'm not itching to make a deal. just putting it out there that i'd consider dealing one of those 2 guys, but with how much goaltending is at a premium in our league, i'm in no rush.

I was tempted to look for a trade, but I'm holding off because he could wind up doing well this year. But holy hell do I hope that whatever happens with him is settled before the 19th.
