Had this beer at the Riverside Public House (Took over the Blue Moon) on Wednesday after seeing Bam. Mad & Noisy, It is a India Pale Lager, ABV around 5.0% - 5.5% from the Creemore Brewing company.

I'd like to try that.

I'm excited to listen to metal and drink radical new beers tonight! Girlfriend is busy with wedding shower planning stuff... Sometimes I love having nothing to do! :)

Got the Founders, the West Coast, the Hop Circle... an IPA night... and maybe some Belgian stuff too.

I'm anxious to hear what you guys up accross the border think of the Founders. Hopefully it hasn't been overhyped.

I won't allow it to be over-hyped. I just expect it do but a top quality beer. And judging by reviews and ratings, it is just that. It's just fun when we get decent American craft brew, because most of the time, we don't have any shit from down there worth a damn. My usual go to is the Southern Tier IPA. That is the best we usually have up here from down there. :)

I've made a few trips down to Buffalo for beer, but being that i am able to get the Southern Tier here whenever i want, i will mostly be comparing the Founders to that, but i expect them to be pretty different.

Right on

Hopefully you guys can start getting more quality American beer up there. You're missing out on a lot of good stuff.

I haven’t had any of these before. I am drinking the porter right now, and it’s really good. It’s really robust and thick, great flavor. I am going to need to dig into the back of the fridge to find something that I can use to step down from this one into the IPAs that I picked up. Don’t even know if I would be able to taste the session that I just bought after something so strong.

I had this on draft at their brew pub about a month ago. It's fucking good. 4-packs just started showing up in my area about a week ago I think. Haven't had a chance to pick it up yet though.

Bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago and finally got around to drinking it last night. This was the second time I had it, and it wasn't quite as good as the first. I think the first bottle was fresher. Regardless, still a very good beer that I'll have no problem drinking again. Reasonably priced as well.

I've heard very good things about this. We don't get Great Lakes stuff in Mass., though.

I almost grabbed a 4 pack of this as well, but I decided to hold off. Let me know how it is. I'm always weary of molasses. The oak aged part I can definitely work with though.

I've had it many times in the past and like it a lot.

I haven't had one in a year or so, but recall It being really malty and sweet.

I'll report back later.

I'm broke but I still need to get drunk because I just lost my job so there you go:

It's not that bad really. It's kinda good actually but it's far from being a great beer.

So I set to grab some Founders and the right 6 packs that were shown on the set were sold out at the Whitby location already lol. They did have the green flash west coast ops though, and its fresh. My 4 pack was bottled mid-February.

I m hoping the founders will be at more locations tomorrow and over the weekend.

I see they have the Founders at my one location, so I'm off later to get it. Can't fucking wait.

Call them and ask them to put some on hold for you! Otherwise don't get your hopes up, you may be disapointed. I did the same thing yesterday and when i got there they were gone.

Although now the site says there are still 4 at the Whitby location, which means the website is wrong, or the dude was an idiot lol.

I just called the LC near my work and they are holding a couple 6 packs for me juuuuuuust in case, since i don't know how much is actually being distrusted up here.

Well I actually held off and just went in, and only one had been sold, so I guess I got lucky.

Lemme know how the Hop Circle and West Coast fare, I'll let you all know tomorrow how I like the Founders.

Its on tap there. Not sure how long they will have it on tap but it wouldn't hurt calling local pubs to see.

Ok, so I had the Founders Centennial IPA last night and I'm drinking one now. This is a top-notch IPA for sure. I like that they didn't hide the malt. It's very easy-drinking for a 7.2%. Recommended.

And I finally cracked the Flying Monkeys BNL. It's probably one of the best stouts I've ever had, hands down! Absolutely amazing. I'll need to pick up a few more in Aurora before they're completely gone. Worth every penny.

Oh yum, I fucking LOVE that beer. A bar here has it in bottles but I'll bet it's more amazing on tap. Sour beers are my fucking favourite lately.

I'm going down to Indianapolis next month for a business trip and plan on leaving much room in my baggage to bring back some goodies.

I've been too broke lately to drink anything besides homemade cider.
