I noticed some massive youtube updates and I thought "ah, what the heck, maybe they fixed this duplicating bs." So last night I started uploading about five videos that are easily a year old. . . I woke up this morning and sure enough they are all still uploading, but most importantly they are working! Here's to many more beer reviews! Awesome, glad to hear! I picked up the he'brew jewbelation Beer.

Had a few of these last night. Far from my favorite Founders, and it's a beer I usually have to be in the right mood to drink. Well that mood hit me last night and it did not disappoint.

Have you ever tried Backwoods Bastard, the Bourbon Barrel Aged Version of Dirty Bastard?

Yeah, I had it a few months back. Enjoyed it a lot. It's one of the stronger tasting/smelling beers I've had in recent memory.

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
Dipped into this bad boy last night. It was something, and incredibly unique. Smelled of campfire and pepper, and the taste was very much the same, with a nice hop grapefruity bitterness as well, as expected at 88 IBU. Long lasting smokey cedar aftertaste. I really, really enjoyed this one. I hadn't had a beer aged on cedar before and boy could you taste smell and taste it. At first i thought i could have done with sharing the bottle, but once it started to warm up a bit, it became even nicer. Probably not for everyone but worth a try if it comes to the LCBO. Not sure if there are plans for that or not.

But if you go to the brewery you can get some sweet glasses. The one pictured about was the last snifter though apparently, and they were using it for tastings. I find it hard to imagine they won't get more though.

Awesome, I really wanna get that one. I also wanna get the BNL stout as I actually have the cash for it now, but of course don't see it on the shelves anymore.

Actually just saw that last night. I'm in Newmarket actually but I might be able to make it out there today to get it, and share it with a buddy next week.

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
So I had that Sam Adams Spring Lager last night, and it was actually pretty refreshing. Had a big citrus hit, but not like an IPA. Was really good session-wise. Also had the Pumphouse Blueberry Ale last night. I was almost expecting it to pour blue or something, but it's as clear as a pilsner. The berries are actually not hugely overpowering, and aren't overly sweet, just tart enough. Really good stuff.

I'm jealous of that brew your picking up for someone. I'm going to steer away from the Newmarket location for a while, lol. I had a six pack of that Pumphouse Blueberry when I picked it up at the Queens Quay location about a year or two ago. It was good, but I wasn't happy with the fact that it didn't have as much of a blueberry flavor as I believed it should. You know what I'm looking for? Ever bought that single bottle on the lcbo shelves (been there consecutively for more than 10 years) Morte Subite Raspberry. That's the kind of blueberry beer I'm looking for. If they made a blueberry version I'd be more than thrilled.

All Torontonians or gta'ers be on the look out for new FOUNDERS brews on the lcbo shelves shortly. I saw two adds in the newspaper. I think they are Founder's IPA? as wel as another kind, but I don't remember off the top of my head. We have yet to ever have Founder's on the shelves, so I'm thrilled.

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
That's actually a pretty bomb ass picture right there. So I bought a 24 of this with my brother who was visiting me over the weekend. I talked him into it because I know he's not a big fan of dark beers and I'm sure the majority of us can agree with me when I say that porters are that kind of beer that looks all dark and hoppy, but they go down rather refreshingly. Well, my suspicions were not correct, so I'm thrilled my brother still liked it. There was actually a lot of body there. A very roasted nutty taste. Very filling. It resembled that more of a dark ale than a Porter imo. Still good, no complaints. . . for a Sleeman brew of course. I think it was $41 a 24.

Re: NOW DRINKING - BEER SNOBBERY VOL. 4
My brother is still here and we're still knocking them back. I took quite the risk with this one again, thankfully I got exactly what I had expected. My brother does not like IPA's very much. He's used to drinking stuff like James Ready, etc. . . anywho... So I bought this ipa thinking that it was going to resemble the fake ass ipa we all know of as Alexander Keith's. I felt that if Keith's is as huge as they are and they are trying to accommodate a certain type of beer connoisseur than so would Sleeman (The Porter I posted above does not pertain to this idea of mine). Sure enough . . . I bought Sleeman's IPA and it was exactly just that. A regular-tasting beer with IPA on the label. There was no hopp's here for me to really establish that this is a genuine IPA. It wasn't bad. In fact, it's still better than Keith's IPA. It actually has a really pleasant after taste too. Easily to session. Actually, hell... any type of beer drinker could find something they like in this one. That being said, it's quite impressive for what it is.

The Centenial IPA appears to be at three locations on the website. I am assuming this is receiving a wide release, so no need to panic yet. http://www.lcbo.com/lcbo-ear/lcbo/produ ... ber=324210
