I've got the 5th booked off work, so a buddy and I are going to do some respectable afternoon drinking while we watch the first game of the season against Cleveland at a bar and play darts.

Made me nervous for a minute, I had him auto drafted onto one of my fantasy teams so I thought I was going to have to begin overhauling the team right out of the gate. I think if he does well enough this season he could end up spending some time in the AL as a DH next year if the opportunity presents itself, but I'm not holding my breath. Will be interesting to see exactly what happens with him by the end of the season. Regardless, what a fantastic career

Home opener two weeks from tonight, and then the Saturday game against Baltimore a few days later. Even more excited to be going since I managed to land a few Jays in the BBer baseball pool (but goddamn you for taking JP Arencebia, Haunted!)

Over the last two years I've slowly been falling back in love with baseball. This year participated in my first baseball fantasy draft and picked a pretty solid lineup as far as I can tell. Wouldn't mind some insight as to where I can improve my team. I know that 2B and SS are my weak points and that I took a surplus of pitchers to load up my bench to use as trade fodder, but I don't know a bunch of the players, so if I got an absolute lemon, I'd like to know before my player start playing.
