Blakkwater, I listened to your music. What can I say ? Yes you do stay within the style with the music and the lyrics. But I can't really emotionally connect to neither the style nor the lyrics. I don't like both.

I don't like the idea of spreading hate, I like the idea of spreading love Thats why I like bands like Rhapsody Of Fire. Their music is amazing, even though I think the lyrics also a bit weak. But they are servants of light and not darkness And that is on my opinion TRUE heavy metal. This is heavy metal that I like.

Its one of my favorite heavy metal songs, which I've been listening to since 1988. I never get tired from it. I think if any band symbolizes true heavy metal it would be Manowar. And pay attention to their lyrics, they carry mostly viking theme but they are never evil. Even their song "Kill With Power" from "Hail To England" is not evil its about "giving false ones death".

Don't get me wrong, I think the idea of true metal and what have you is ridiculous, but so's your idea that some band will use the lyrics you post on a message board. I don't know any band who'd say "Man, I don't wanna write my own lyrics, let's go online to see if somebody's posted some for us to use." In fact, any band that does so deserves to be mocked as you're being now.

I'm having fun too reading all of you. All forums are the same, most guys on any forum think they know it all and for lack of better things to do spend time attacking and ridiculing each other.
The whole argument about what is true metal and what is not doesn't make sense. For me its sort of religion vs science type of conversation.
You are wrong about bands wanting to write their own lyrics, this is truly ridiculous statement all jokes aside. There are so many examples of the opposite. Btw I found few people that will write the music for my lyrics. And besides I'm old enough to have my own forum bullshit filter.
