Re: HATE THEM Oh noooooo I hope everything's ok!! Man, poor kid. One thing after another. So she's had a gnarly rattling cough for 2 weeks now. Started to go away, but came back. Isn't coughing at night, just during the day. But it sounded GROSSS. Finally get her in to a doctor yesterday. Our regular doctor is on vacation, but we got to see another doctor in the building. Says her right ear is a little red, keep an eye on it, but her lungs are 100% clear. He used the wording 100% clear. Well, I don't like this one bit. Today, her cough was *still* gross and wheezy. Take her to walk in clinic (one of the Drs there is fucking AWESOME) after Greg got home from work today. Listens to her lungs and tells us her left lung is full of fluid and she definitely has mild pneumonia. Now I know doctor's aren't perfect, no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. BUT HOW THE FUCK DID THE FIRST DOCTOR NOT HEAR THAT RATTLE AND WHEEZE THE REST OF US HEARD?! I'm fucking PISSED.

Re: HATE THEM OK, these protests by First Nations people are about to hit a raw nerve. All this time they were legally protesting, and although I might not agree with all their grievances, I support everyone's right to assemble for peaceful demonstrations and raise awareness to their cause.
However, today they are blocking the QEII highway between Edmonton and the International airport this afternoon, on the very day I have to go out that way. They have no permits and are willfully breaking the law. What a bunch of selfish cunts. That is a public road.
There are also blockages planned for HWY 43 and 63 to the oil sands. I tell you what - if they block those highways at the end of a 2 week shift rotation, those busloads of exhausted roughnecks finally going home after 14 straight days of busting their asses for 12 hour shifts aren't going to be sympathetic to some protesters interfering with their time off. First Nations might get away with blockages in Toronto suburbs, but a blockage of HWY 63 could easily result in bloodshed.
These assholes need to protest the government that wronged them, not the public.
