I like that when I make a facebook status about unexpectedly falling asleep in the early evening and not being able to find my phone, my friends express great and genuine concern. Heartwarming.

I've been in an exceptional mood for the last couple weeks, and really loving my job again. I dunno wtf that downswing a couple months ago was all about. I guess I'll just chalk it up to the September rush really taking a chunk out of me

Anyway, I like the back massaging cushion I have for my desk chair. My lower back has been really sore and the cushion has been helping to ease some of the pain.

Just got an email from a co-worker praising my work on keeping our numbers so in line to where they should be. Considering that we've butted heads a lot over this issue, it's great to be recognized for my work, and for being right. Fuck yeah! Recognition for hard work rules

So everybody left early today. I was the last one to leave. On my way home, I passed one of our guys coming towards the shop. He lives 45 minutes away. Since it'd be a total dick move to just let him show up to a locked up shop and have come all that way for nothing, I spun around and followed him back here to let him in. He's switching into a new work truck, and I'm sitting here relaxing while I wait for him to finish. I'm getting paid for this. Awesome

I started my Christmas shopping yesterday. I only have three paycheques (including the one from yesterday) until Christmas, so I wanted to make sure to get started now.

For the last couple of months, I had no clue what to get for my lady. Everything just seemed so obvious, and I wanted to do something special for her. I finally figured out exactly what I wanted to get for her and how I wanted to present it. I've got almost everything I need now, and I'm quite excited to see her reaction when she opens everything up on Christmas morning. I haven't looked forward to this holiday in years, but this is going to be a lot of fun

Helping someone else pack up their messy house that's deserving of the show "Hoarders" is enough to make me wine, but packing it up this weekend + today for $20/hr. while also on paid vacation sort of makes up for it. Plus it's helping my family out since this is the house we'll be moving into in about a month.
