i got a part time job, nothing fancy but it's a start. and i'm looking at other work actually in my field. it's exciting. once i get that started (i'm in the process of getting my OPT which will allow me to work in the US for a while) it should be easier to start the process of living andf working her permanently.

tomorrow i'm going camping with my boyfriend and his friend. It's going to be great. short hike and then fire and tents and .. im just really happy about everything right now.

Various pills did nothing to help ease my back pain.

Smoked a bit of pot on the weekend, the back felt much better. Glad to see that our government has it's priority straight by keeping those dangerous potheads off the street instead of legalizing something that can legitimately help a lot of people

I've had a few conversations with patients with sciatica and chronic back pain and was like "Uhh, you know there are *herbal* methods, right?" A few just kinda looked at me, but one guy giggled and said "Yeah!"

I'd love to get a card, but my doctor isn't particularly open minded in that area, and I have no fucking clue how I'm gonna actually get one otherwise

had a great weekend/weekstart. things i was worried about are looking up a little! also, i am.. very much in love and it feels amazing. dont want to be a big jerk about it but.. wow things are pretty decent right now.

yeah.. there's been some seriousl "BAH FUTURE!!!!" stress this summer, but.. i got a job (legally) and i have an amazing partner, and i have great friends, and stuff is good. between camping and floating down the river and sitting in the bar and thrifting... recration has been prime this summer.

Headed to my first electronic music festival this weekend and exactly 1 week until I finish my Masters!!!!

I've been on a roll lately with being productive around my house. Something just clicked in my mind that has made me finish a few projects and I feel like I can't stop right now.

I like today! Got an email from my contact at Evergreen letting me know one of my photos was used, took a dunk in the pool with OMAC, and then went to water my plants... and...

GASP! My poor little beleaguered tomato plant has brought forth fruit! I thought it would never happen, growing conditions on my balcony have been harsh. SQUEE! Best day ever.

Stop being so happy. I want to smack you and your tomato plant with a colostomy bag.

Just relocated to Montreal, and am almost fully settled in my new place. Getting ready to start the first year of a Master's degree at McGill university... fucking stoked!
