The only gas stove I've ever seen where you had to light it yourself with a match or something was in a trailer.

That's because most appliances in trailers are old, like the one at dstalks' place.

Doctor told me I had a cold when i went to see her. It's been three days since then and i can barely move from my bed...

There's a particulary vicious strain of the common cold going around TO right now. I know 3 people who got knocked on their asses by it. Just count your lucky stars it's simply a nasty cold and not this fucking pig flu. I cannot describe to you how freaking violent, tenacious and frankly terrifying it is.

I'm not sure gonna go see my family doctor (the one was an emergency room one) tomorrow. I don't think it's the cold, but i don't think it's the pig flu either.

I had a badass kicker of a cold last week, so did mandy. it's not swine flu.

And mr. Martyr, colds can be kicked fast if you know what to do. either that or suck it up

Why would the emerg doc tell you that you had a cold if in fact it was something else? Don't you think they've been inundated with people with the exact same query this season?

every kitchen ive ever worked in has had gas stove that you have to light with a match..

I had a nurse yell at me for coming in to the clinic when I "just have the flu", when I actually had very bad pneumonia; just because they see the same thing a lot doesn't mean they don't misjudge from time to time.

WOW!!! When I was a little kid (35 years ago), my grandmother had a really old stove which had to be lit that way. That's the only one I've ever seen, other than like camping equipment or stoves in a travel trailer of course.

Wow, I've only been awake for 3 hours and already this day is turning out to fucking blow.. I'm hung over, exhausted, mix ups at work and a really fuck mean message in my facebook inbox from someone I love. I've been on the verge of tears for like half an hour now.

i'm guessing my symptoms weren't really apparent when i went in. in any case, it's what i expected from this hospital (god i hate it). Just came back from the clinic and the doctor told me not to go out for a couple of days...these last 2 weeks sucked ass...

1) I was supposed to work from 5:30am to 1:30pm today. Thanks to a scheduling fuckup and me being the only manager on shift, I had to stay until 4pm.

2) This is the first time in a VERY long time that I had a date - which had to get postponed until tomorrow thanks to said scheduling fuckup

3) I'm also sick, and puked a couple times on the way in to work. Spent the whole day trying not to puke more
