Missed the first tune or two of Revocation, wasn't thrilled about that, but the rest of their set rocked. Goatwhore, I wasn't a big fan of their recorded material, but live their shit was pretty rockin. The set felt way too long for me, but I think thats a combination of not knowing them well, and high anticipation for 3 Inches. When 3 Inches first took the stage, I was soooo let down by the fact that they were down a guitar player...or bass player more like. The dude playing bass (I wanna say Matt) was playing guitar last time I saw em. A 3IOB set without guitarmonies? I was not happy. At first. But they still put on a great show, I was headbanging so hard and singing along so loud that I ALMOST didn't notice the lack of guitar. But yeah, pretty killer show all around.

Re: 3 Inches Of Blood, Goatwhore - May 3rd - Opera House sound was terrible, couldnt hear the vocals for revocation or 3IOB, and i was up close. goatwhore had a bunch of technical difficulties too, and the turnout was pretty poor in general.
also, anyone else annoyed with the dickhead in the wife beater crowd surfing....50 times during 3IOB's set? Not just him, but the dickheads tossing him feet first into people's heads. I steered clear but I can't imagine people not fuming over that shit.
