Still need to buy my pass. May be heading to this solo. The girlfriend and her girlfriend have decided to go to Heavy MTL instead.

I'll try and convince her to do both though, so i don't have to empty my bank account.

I need to somehow convince her how much more important it is to see Megiddo, Manilla Road, and Satan it is than Rob Zombie, Children of Bodom, and Avenged Sevenfold. Oh, and Danzig who will also be playing Toronto.

She loves to come to shows, but wasn't sure she could get the Friday off work for Wings of Metal anyhow, due to other peoples vacations, so when her friend asked about Heavy MTL, she said she was in.

I sure as hell ain't going though. Unless i change my mind last minute. There are very few bands I'd be interested in seeing at that fest. Danzig being the most interesting, considering I'm expecting tons of Misfits tunes with Doyle.

The thing is, she comes to like every concert with me and isn't all that into underground metal. I don't have to go to Heavy MTL, but i might choose to for a mini vacation. That doesn't really have anything to do with Wings of Metal though. She can't go to that since she was unable to get the Friday off work (as of now), so if i go I'll have to go solo which may not be feasible.

If anything, i hope to fuck that Megiddo will play some sort of Toronto show at some point, since that is the main draw for me. And Manilla Road. Fuck i hope i can manage it.

I think I may have broke through on the drive home and convinced her to do whatever it takes for her to get August 30th off work. Came up with a few ideas that i don't think her boss will really have a problem with.

I honestly don't understand the problem. You go to Montreal together, you both see amazing, separate metal shows that you independently are enthused about. You share your stories amidst the inevitable adrenaline, then fuck, go to your respective shows tomorrow, repeat, back to TO, awesome trip maximally.
