 Austrian Death Machine - Double Brutal  This album makes me happy. There's a lot of thrash bands out there that try to inject comedy into their music, and fail. ADM succeed, partially because of their total commitment to the AHHNOLD gag, partially because the music itself kicks all sorts of ass. Their first album was ok-to-good, but this one really raises the bar on all fronts. Show some appreciation IT'S SIMPLE, IF IT JIGGLES, IT'S FAT! NEEEEAAAAAAGH!

I dig joke bands (Crotchduster RULES for one), but I loathed that album. It'd have been funny if the Arnold-ness was from actual samples instead of lame (oh, SO lame), poorly-done immitations. On top of it all, the music was fuckin' queer.
